"Mejor" es un concepto relativo, y cada uno sabrá si le cabe o no. La frase es real, pero en mi caso particular no es mejor, porque prefiero el conocimiento y la verdad hasta las últimas consecuencias. Eso sí, a veces duele...

ResponderEliminarDe este brevísimo extracto de sabiduría popular no hay quien dude, encontrarás incontables referencias por todos lados. Por ejemplo, en Matrix:
"You know, I know that this steak doesn't exist. I know that, when I put it in my mouth, the Matrix is telling my brain that it is juicy and delicious. After nine years, you know what I've realized ? Ignorance is blessing". (Cypher)
Se me viene a la memoria, por esas vueltas que tienen los rulos del cerebro, la frase en referencia a la ignorancia que leí en 1984, de George Orwell. Es la última de los tres eslogans del partido:
WAR IS PEACE
FREEDOM IS SLAVERY
IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH
En ese mismo libro, y me voy a Internet para citarlo, Winston (el protagonista) había escrito en su diario:
"Freedom is the freedom to say that two plus two make four. If that is granted, all else follows."
Luego, hacia el final, cuando lo están torturando, le explican que no quieren hacerle mal, que le están ayudando. Y para hacerlo, utilizan la frase de su diario. A continuación un breve resumen tomado de la Wikipedia:
